 Instead of choosing another specific song, I wanted to introduce everyone to a specific artist: The Yoshida Brothers. They were my first exposure into what a shamisen sounded like and how it could be used in modern music. There's always going to be one song that sticks with me and that's Kodo. My father introduced this to me.

今日メヂィアはうたでRADWIMPSとToakaです。すずめはうたはです。

I chose this song because of the melody and how soft the song is. This is a song I found my senior year of high school and I still listen to it on a regular basis. It's one of the few songs that I can sing along to and can understand some of the lyrics if I'm reading them. I've attached the official video from the artists if you're interested in taking a look.
